Homework

All children from Nursery upwards will bring home a reading book each night.  Parents are asked to read regularly with their children and communicate with the class teacher through the shared reading notebook.

From Reception upwards pupils will receive weekly homework and spellings to learn.

Years 3 and 4 will in addition be given homework in a daily timetable.

Years 5 and 6 will be given homework each day.

Parents are requested to ensure their children have a quiet place to do their homework.

Parents should contact the school if their child does not bring homework home regularly.
