GDPR
What is GDPR?
There is currently legislation in place that protects the data held by a business or organisation.
New broader and stronger legislation around GDPR came in to force on the 25th May 2018.
As a school we have an obligation to meet this new legislation, we will be updating our records, data collection and storage processes in order to make sure that we are compliant and the data we hold is necessary, accurate and secure.
All businesses, organisations and schools will have to go through a period of adjustment and make necessary arrangements to meet the new GDPR requirements. We will go through a very thorough processing period in order to meet the new legislation and aim to keep you informed of any changes or additional information we may require.
There may be some changes in the way we collect, store and capture information as well as seek permission (consent) from you. We aim to make this as smooth as possible and keep you updated as to why we need the information.
That said we ant to assure you reassure you that we already have very robust measures in place and this new legislation will just further enhance our processes.
As a school we have employed a specialist company to help and manage our GDPR, Judicium Education have been contracted as our GDPR service providers.
